Strength and Conditioning Services at Barwon Sports Physiotherapy
To join our S&C program, the process is:
1. Movement Screen & Performance Testing Session
Our movement screen & performance test is a 60min session where our high performance coaches assess your mobility and biomechanics, followed by in-depth performance testing utilising force plate and dynamometer technology.
Through this we aim to understand:
- How do you move and what joints and structures are at risk of injury?
- What is your maximum physical output?
- Do you lack total force output?
- Or is it rate of force development in a key movement?
- Is there an imbalance somewhere?
2. Weekly Training Program OR Online Athlete Program
Your individualised program is then uploaded to our online training software TeamBuildr. This app allows you to view and log your scheduled training plans.
You can choose to undertake your S&C program remotely at a training location of your choice (‘Online Athlete Program’) or complete your training on-site with the supervision of our high performance coaches with like-minded athletes (‘Weekly Training Program’) in our group classes
