Jacob Russell

Exercise Physiologist

M.ExPh , B.SpExSc/B.SpMnt

  • Chronic musculoskeletal injuries

  • NDIS participants 

  • Return to sport programming

 

Jacob graduated from Deakin University, with his Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology after completing his bachelor in Sport and Exercise Science and Bachelor of Business, majoring in Sports Management. Since graduating, Jacob has spent his time working in private practice seeing a diverse client base that has ranged from not only young athletes but even the elderly looking to improve their physical capacity. 

Jacob understands the importance of developing relationships and places a heavy focus on involving each client in the decision-making process of their exercise journey. He recognizes that every person has a different story, and his goal is to provide each client with the best possible intervention to advance their overall wellbeing.

In his free time, Jacob plays football for one of the local clubs in the region and during the off season he loves getting out for a run, a cycle and even a hit of golf when he can.

  • Chronic musculoskeletal conditions (particularly knees, shoulders, lower back)

  • Chronic joint degeneration and bone density 

  • Athlete development 

  • Cardiovascular conditions

  • Type 1 and 2 diabetes, obesity 

  • Neurological conditions

  • TAC and WorkCover, DVA, NDIS and EPC clients

Jesse Kuchel

Strength and Conditioning Coach / Exercise Scientist

(M. S&C, B. Ex Sp Sci)

Special interests:

·    Youth Long Term Athletic Development

·    Strength & Conditioning

·    Athlete Rehabilitation

 

Jesse graduated from Federation University with a Masters of Strength & Conditioning, after obtaining a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from Deakin University.

 

Jesse developed his interest in athlete rehabilitation after working with the Geelong Cats VFL and VFLW as a Strength & Rehabilitation Coach, following time spent with the Geelong Grammar 1st XVIII football team.

 

Jesse has also completed employment as Head of Sport & Coaching at Holy Trinity Lutheran College, providing exposure to youth athletes across a wide range of sport.

 

Alongside working at the clinic, Jesse will be completing his Masters of Physiotherapy at Swinburne University to help further his knowledge in sport and athlete rehabilitation.
